Chevrolet, a division of the General Motors Corporation, has the majority of its manufacturing plants (where the cars/trucks are made) in the United States. As of 2009, GM has established manufacturing plants in foreign countries due to a decrease in costs and uses them in conjunction with its U.S.-based facilities.
