  • I'll simplify it for you, then you should be able to get it yourself. The problem consists of two basic questions. First, how many total people were asked the question? Second, of all the people, how many of them BOTH 1)were male and 2)answered "yes"? The probability is determined by that small section of people over the total number of people.
  • No. of males who said yes = 5 out of 92; No. of males who said no = 10 out of 74; Therefore, probability = (5/92)/{(5/92) + (10/74)} = 0.28682170542
  • Well, it would be the first part of the question over the second part of the question. So, 5/92 divided by 5/92 + 10/74, and there you go!
