    You need to get a Hayne's or Chilton for that one. There's no way to explain that here. Fortunately the 82-93 engines for the S10 and Blazer are almost identical. Remember that starters are attached to the crankshaft itself, and the solenoid engages the starter while the ignition switch is in the 'start' position.
