Hmm..that's tough. I have been to every state in the US except for Hawaii and Alaska ( won't ever go there. I have lived in many states: South Carolina, North Carolina, Indiana, Texas, Georgia, Nevada, and Florida. I am honestly going to go with an area where the people are extremely friendly. It would defiantly be the Midwest (Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee). These people are absolutely polite, courteous, friendly, and welcoming. You could drive down the road and people just wave at you as if they know you. When I first saw this I was like what the heck why are all these people waving at me. Well it is just friendliness.

I've been to all 50 states, and some of the US islands in the Caribbean. Of course, I've only met or spoken with a tiny fraction of the people. Here goes more than you ever wanted to know. Texas - polite and most friendly, Florida in the south part, belligerent and pushy, Hawaii - discriminatory against whites and tourists (many have had items stolen); New York - brusque and greedy, Puerto Rico - sexually aggressive with women; and the rest in the middle. I know there are wonderful people everywhere and would go back to visit all of these states.
