Nah, if its a dirty movie watch out though. =)
-
No - I actually jump at the opportunity to see a movie by myself in the theater. It's not exactly a "social" event, since you have to be quiet, so it's really not necessary to go with someone else.
-
Absolutely not. Movie-going isn't exaclty a social event to begin with. People have this notion that it's bad to do things solo. I say, if you want to see a movie and no one else is around, by all means go.
-
No, not at all. I've done it a hundred times. It's easier to go to a matinee - they're usually less crowded (and cheaper, too). You'll most likely see other people by themselves, too. After you go by yourself a few times, you won't think anything about it.
-
No, I've done it, and looked around the theater to see I wasn't the only one.
-
Yes. If it's a horror movie. I went to see a movie a few years ago and NO ONE was there... except for me. It was so weird, and I had that creepy feeling the whole time- the one that feels like someone is behind you.
-
Let's hope not, because nobody want to go see Harry Potter w/ me, so I'm going myself this summer, so there! :)
-
Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. Depends on the movie and the audience. I've seen matinees by myself a few times and it's nice.
-
not at all that way nobody bothers you
-
I've done that a couple of times and I think it's not weird. Sometimes I really feel the need to be alone.
-
No....My mom used to go with me But since she passed away last year i usually go see a movie by myself. My aunt Hates horror movies and i cant see any rated R movies Yet because i am only 16. But its not to bad
-
Not at all.
-
No,and sometime it is better for there is no talking from friends that will interrupt the movie.
-
Of course it's not weird. Many people go to a movie for the movie. They just couldn't find someone to go with them at that time.
-
A lot of people seem to think so. Personally, if I want to see something that my husband doesn't want to, I will get up and go.
-
No. I go to the library all alone sometimes, so why not a movie theater? At both places, you use your eyes, not your mouth, so you don't have to communicate with anyone at either place....just keep quiet and enjoy! :)
-
No. I don't think so.
-
Not in the least. JUst go and enjoy the movie!!!
-
horrendous i say! people should only be allowed to go to the movies with their pre-approved, pesticide free, fire retardant mattress.
-
I don't know if it's weird, per se, but I can't do it. You're not supposed to talk during the movie, but c'mon! Of course I talk during movies. And my phone doesn't work too well in the theaters.
-
nah, i think the next time i need to get away the theater would be a good place to go.
-
Somewhat sad but weird only if you buy popcorn for two.
-
it is weird because it is easy to become the victim. some bad ass clown is always behind me kicking my row of chairs. if i was with someone we could both glare at him. or in a group, one of my crazy friends would throw a box of popcorn at them. still, i go by myself. its easier. i can get up and leave if the movie turns to boring.
-
I like to go see a really unpopular movie in its 4th week in the theater so theres only 1 other person there and sit RIGHT next to them. : ]
-
To weird for me!!!
-
To some, sure, though you could just be seeing a movie to screen it for someone else, or you don't have anyone who wants to put up with that flick.
