Change it, this is England, it may never stop :-)
-
Call the CAA.
-
Last time i changed it in the rain. as I had to get to work, but first I had to go back homer and change. Even so, waiting would have taken longer. This was in England.
-
Depends on how heavily it is raining and how long I believe it will last. Chances are I wouldn't be out driving in the rain anyway...
-
I'd probably just change it in the rain. It's just water.
-
If it's flat in my driveway, take the other vehicle. If it's on the road, change it in the rain.
-
It's just water for god sake.Change the damn thing and get on with the day!
-
I get back in my car and call Triple A.
-
IF it looked like it might clear then I would get back in the car and wait it out. But otherwise might as well get it done and over with. +5
-
Change it... i live in scotland, i'd likely have a very long wait!! +3
-
I sit in the car and call the service.
-
Way too many variables, am i in a hurry, do i think the rain will stop soon, am i wearing my good boots? I don't mnd getting wet if that is what you are asking:0)
-
Tire, what is that then??? I just drive the thingy...uuummm...car...but I have found the brake thingy :)
-
The one time this has happened to me, I just stayed in the car and called AAA. As luck would have it, the rain stopped just before the guy showed up.
-
If it's not a blinding rain and there's a safe spot to do so, I'd change it. If you have to park half on the road and other drivers can't see you because of hard rain and poor visibility, it's smarter to wait until it stops raining.
-
It would depend on where I am. If I'm on the highway, I'll wait until it stops since there seems to be more accidents with drivers when it rains. If it's in a residential area, I would change it then.
-
Wait until it stops. Oh and did you know you can save gas and battery power if the wheels are inflated right?
-
Change it in the rain, I don't mind the rain at all I love it :D
-
Depends how hard it's raining. If it's raining HARD I'd probably wait for the rain to subside a bit. If it was just regular ol' rain then I'd go out and change it.
-
If you are going to change your own tire/flat its best to wait till the rein slows down or stops so other drivers can see you on the roadside clearly. Be careful that the surface your raising the car on is firm and level as the jack could sink into moist soil causing the car to fall from the jack.Try to be in a well lighted area and never chage a tire on a busy highway. Its better to mess up your wheel and tire the to be killed on a busy interstate.
-
On a flat tire: The MAXIMUM SPEED you can drive on it: 50 mph (80 km/h) The MAXIMUM DISTANCE you can drive on it:50 miles(80km)
-
if its raining pull over and wait for the rain to stop then cahnge the tire. http://www.discountcartire.net/2009/06/how-to-change-flat-tire.html
-
change it. you can get a flat tire fixed for free or around $5 most of the time. if you ruin the tire by driving on it, thats a wholeee new tire (and wheel)
-
not unless u are wanting to get wet
-
If it were a safe road with a good situation I would change it right there. However I also use triple A for things like this. I had a situatio recently and they were going to take a long time to get to me, so I just did it myself.
-
AAA is your safest option.
-
I'd call roadside assistance or my hubby or dad.
-
You STOP. You get your ass soaking wet. I don't care how cold it is. DO NOT drive on a flat. EVER. Especially in the rain. Extremely Dangerous.
-
I work for a national (UK) breakdown recovery service and as a staff member I get free cover. I phone them, and let one of the very nice men change my tyre.
-
Neither, I have some one else do it
-
Change it in the rain, the rain never stops when you wait for it, but it will stop as soon as the tyre is changed.
-
it depends on how much a hurry i,am.
