Of course. Land use is far too valuable in todays world.
-
What the hell do I care, I'm dead. You could roll me up in a joint and smoke me for all I care...so ya I guess creamation is the way to go.
-
I rather be buried.
-
I have a special discount plan where I can get cremated now and die later. You save money this way.
-
Yes I do. Don't know if my wishes will be granted. But I'll never know the difference. +5
-
No that scares me, I want to be put in a vault. I hate thinking about it, death was not discussed when I was young, when I was old enough to understand it really frightened me, still does. eugh
-
My body will be resurrected whether I am buried or cremated, or my ashes thrown into the sea or soaring around in space.
-
Thats the plan. My mother's family were Moravians. They were an environmentally aware church about 300 years before there were environmentalists. My grandparents were very aware of the amount of ground taken up by cemeteries and were insistent on being cremated long before it was popular. I think they were right. I can't see burying good furniture grade lumber. I won't know it anymore. And if God can create this body once, He can do it again without any help from me.
-
I want my corpse to be used to benefit man kind as best it can... then I want any leftovers to be disposed of in the least costly method possible
-
Yes then just toss me in the Mississippi
-
Beats BEFORE I pass away. :-)
-
If they're not willing to put me in a biodegradable trash bag and leave me in the alley that's one of the options I'm considering.
-
I think that would be nice. Then someone might be kind enough to spread some ashes in all the different places that were part of my life.
-
No, I want a Green burial.
-
I would prefer a "green burial". The conqueror worm's gotta eat too.
-
Maybe, donated to science sounds good too, one last lesson to teach. :)
-
Yes, I do. Already have it paid for so the family won't have to deal with it when I'm gone.
-
yup :)
-
It depends on what my s/o will want. If he wants to be buried, I would like to lay beside him. However, if not, I would like my ashes spread around places that were important to me or be kept in a jar by a loved one.
-
Yes, that is the plan.
-
I want to be frozen in liquid nitrogen and smashed to bits! Either that or cremation would be fine with me. Burials really are a time-limited ritual; many graveyards are already starting to fill up.
-
Yes. Certainly beats injecting all that formaldahyde into the biosphere...
-
Yes I do.
-
just throw my corpse in the hole with the rest of the bodies.
-
Just cremate me.
-
Yep. Less cost to my family. I just died, why introduce more pain with the costs of burying someone?
-
Ys. no point in wasting the land or burdening my family with extra expense
-
yeah, I never really got that whole burial thing
-
Yes. The idea of returning to the elements from which my body sprang is appealing
-
+5 Yes and my ashes scattered to the wind
-
I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered.
-
yes , and ashes scattered....
-
No, I want my body donated for scientific purposes.
-
Yes, with no services including any Memorials. I would not have one singel person attend my furnial (if I was to have one) other than family.
-
Yes, I can't stand the idea of being underground (even though it probably won't bother me cause I'll be dead). I'd rather be cremated
