No, I've had one just break all on it's own. But my MIL broke a tooth on soft cheese. They think maybe it was the suction action of the cheese that did it, since cheese isn't hard at all.

No, but I tore my gum down to the tooth when eating chocolate (I have no idea how it happened, but it took forever for the gum to grow back over it and it hurt like hell until it did).

I was in Germany last summer in a country club. The food there was great, mainly because the country club owned their own hunting grounds. I ordered a roast pigeon with a side of fries, and when I bit down on the leg, I broke my right canine tooth on the bullet that was cooked inside the pigeon.

Yes when I was in primary school I bit a lollypop and it chipped a tooth, there was more pain involved getting it repaired, the dental nurse hurt my mouth so I bit her and she slapped my face. +5
