Cool faster in a bowl because it has a larger surface to conduct heat.
-
A bowl because of more surface area
-
A bowl

I am going to say in the bowl. Has a larger area to be stirred! +5
-
I would say bowl it's bigger and would get more air.
-
Well it depends on the surface area of soup in contact with air. The larger the contact, the faster it will cool down!
-
A bowl, more of the soup is exposed to air that is a lower temperture than the soup. Now if you were in the center of the earth eating soup we would have a different answer.
-
It would cool faster in a bowl because the diameter of a bowl is usually greater than its depth, whereas the diameter of a cup is usually less than its depth.
-
It cools fastest in a soup bowl. That's why they have them, eh?
-
A bowl of soup will hold X BTU's of heat. The cup would hold Y BTU's of heat. Heat always transfers from the hotter substance to the cooler substance. The surface area of the cup and bowl including that which is exposed to air come into play also. Also, the larger the difference of the temperatures (air and soup) the faster the temperature is lost. Since the bowl holds more heat it will stay hot longer. Now if you think I was going to give you a mathematical example, sorry, I can't. I wish someone else would.

... depends on the material's thermal conductive properties ... if both are made of the same material, then the bowl will have more surface area and will cool faster ... but a stainless steel cup will allow soup to cool faster than a styrofoam bowl ...
-
It depends on if the bowl and cup are insulated or not. A bowl allows for more of the soup to make contact with the air, allowing it to cool much quicker than a cup.
-
Whichever has the greater surface to the air will cool faster.

you are all wankers by the way any one know where to get a prostitute
-
i would think it would be the same
