I do. Whenever there are storms in the area, I usually look out of a window and occasionally step outside to take pictures.
-
Um yes! I was in Illinois visiting family one year and there was a small tornado, and everyone went to the basement, but I was so fascinated I snuck upstairs and almost got hit my a tree branch that came through the window. :)
-
I love a good thunderstorm, the more lightening the better I like it.
-
I enjoy listening to thunderstorms, but watching lightening isn't something that I'm into- it's a little scary.
-
A good thunderstorm is always a pleasure (as long as there is not so much rain with it that we get a flood!).
-
yes. i love watching the power of nature. i have been lucky enough to see lightning in a snow storm 3 times.
-
I love watching and listening to lightening and thunderstorms. We don't have many where I live now. That's one thing I miss about living in the south.
-
Yep! I love thunderstorms and lightning. It's totally awesome when it strikes nearby (not too near though) LOL
-
Yes. If it's not too intense I like to sit in the yard and meditate or whatever.
-
I'm not too crazy about the sound... but yes.
-
Yes I love storms especially in the Mountains and over the sea
-
I do, I find it oddly comforting.
-
oh yes. love it.
-
YES!!! We used to buy a six-pack and head to the lake to watch the storms. I haven't done that in a long time.
-
Yep, always have like storms. Now there is another reason, my mother loved storms, and when there is one, it makes me think of her.
-
I like the sound of a thunderstorm but I'm not too keen on the lightning. Makes us feel pretty insignificant, doesn't it, to see the raw power of nature.
-
Oh yeah!! I wrote a poem about the thunderstorms on Lake Erie. The power would go out, plunging the neighborhood into darkness. Then a flash of lightning would light up the house so brilliantly that it seemed you could see through the walls. Now I enjoy the weather in Northern Arizona. Most every summer we get thunderstorms along the Mogollon Rim, lighting the mountains. We occasionally get thunder and lightning during a snow storm, as I have reported in another question.
-
I love to when i have company ;) if you get what i mean
-
Absolutely love them, as long as I'm inside and not outside the house.
-
It's one of my favorite pleasures. I've been amazed many times by them. The aftermath of them sometimes leads a friend and myself to philosophical conversations, too.
-
I do! I also have one of those soothing sounds CD's that I listen to while falling asleep sometimes, and I love the rain and thunderstorm ones. Just something soothing about them. I can't listen to the thunderstorms very long though, because I fall asleep listening, lol. The best sleep ever is when there's a thunderstorm going on outside.
-
OMG that is one of my favorite summer pasttimes (besides swimming)!!!
-
Certainly
-
My husband and I enjoy sitting out back on our porch during thunderstorms and enjoying the loud bangs and frequent lightening. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone or damage anything it's all good to me.
-
I know it's very stupid of me to do this, but I enjoy walking outside, right underneath it so I can look up and watch it. I find it very exciting to be right there with it.
-
Sit and Listen?! I MAKE THEM!!!
-
I love to listen to thunderstorms, just as long as the wind is tooo windy!
-
I like to watch storms, and lightnenings to. One time we were traveling to Texas years ago, and were out in the middle of nowhere. As we were driving we saw zig zags of lightening in the sky. It was awesome, but the wind was really blowing our car and trailer.
-
sometimes i do my sister. It frightens my cat though,if she gets scared you are watching her.
-
Its amazing, the lightning, as a young kid my mom always told me never go next to a window dring a thunder storm. it amazed me. so i always sneaked to watch it.
-
I was almost phobic of thunderstorms as a kid because I had overly acute hearing and loud thunder actually hurt. As I grew older, my hearing began falling into a more normal range and I actually started to really enjoy watching lightning storms. We had some doozies in Tennessee when I in my 20's.
-
I have loved thunder ever since I was a baby. Late at night, I'd sit up in bed and stare out the window yelling "Blunder" over the noise. (Family story) I refer to rain as "the best thing in the world." Love it!
-
offten when there is word of a storm ill go outside with an umbrella and just stand there to watch the lighting and on a good storm ill enjoy the rumble in the ground.
-
I usually don't have time to sit and watch, but I do enjoy them a lot.
-
i love it! unfortunately, we don't get thunderstorms here very often...
-
indeed i do! i feel that the skies eruption is a good release of all the tension inside. it is jsut liek screaming out the bad vibes, but nature does it so much better!
-
I do, I love them. I have a cd with thunderstorms, but the real thing is way better!
-
I like to do that. It's nice to look out the window also, besides just listening to them. I just have to make sure I don't get struck by them, however beautiful they are.
-
it is absolutely my most favorite thing to do at 2 am on a hot summer night -- I like to go walking in the rain too.
-
I like to but we don't get many storms in Los Angeles, but once in a while there are some good ones.
-
Sure, it can be really pretty! That's as long as I feel okay where I'm watching it!
-

-
I absolutely love them. Which is odd considering when I was only like 3 I was sitting on the front porch with my dad watching a storm when lightning struck the tree right in front of the house. My brother was sleeping & to this day is petrified of them.. Me it made me love em more!
-
I love thunderstorms, I dont only enjoy sitting to listen and watch though, I will always if humanly possible go out and play
-
I love it. I like the way the sky looks when it rolls in. Especialy at sunset when it makes the trees stand out so much brighter. The sound of the thunder and the flash of the lightening with the wind and rain lashing just amazes me. I love all that power surging around me. And the way the sky and sunlight looks and the air smells after wards makes you feel like everything is all fresh and clean.
-
I love to do that too, do you think that's evil? lol
-
love thunder and lightening, rain storms make me feel calm. I love a good light show
-
I like that too.
-
Sounds dangerous but i like to be in a storm or outside as one aproches, i grew up in tornado ally so we would always have huge hail stones lots of lightning and enough rain to make your body sore for a week, that is if you were to stand in it like me and my brother did. it was always cool and still is to see one coming up and see the lightning, especially if it is at dusk because once it is gone you can watch the back end of the storm and the pink and purple lightning it emits, we tend to watch it till we can't hear thunder.
-
I love it very much, but only if I`m not out
-
Yes, I am fascinated with weather. I can sit and watch snowfall for hours.
-
yes i love it.
-
Yes, I love it. Especially when it's warm enough for me to sit on the porch instead of being stuck inside.
-
One of the best things a person can do to relax and I don't do that very often.
-
Yes, I love thunderstorms!

-
I think it's beautiful as long as it doesn't hit anyone.
