Yes, got my start working at the ones in school and since I love books, it was the perfect place to indulge in my addiction lol!!!

My very first job -- I was 15 or 16 and I made $1.79 p/hr, shelving books, typing, filing and checking out books to folks.

Yes, I work in one now! It's a fantastic job... the people are generally really friendly, every day is different - you'd be surprised at the weird stuff that people ask for help with plus you get to be surrounded b books all day. What more could a book junkie need!

I volunteered at one for about two years when I was in highschool. I actually really enjoyed it. Libraries are sexy.

I earned an MLS quite a few years back, and worked as a school librarian, then later part-time in a public library. Now I'm a volunteer - I'm happiest in a library!! +4
