all the time...love garage sales
-
No, but I have donated. One of my friends shopped there once looking for 1950's type clothes for a retro party.
-
No
-
I definitely don't shop there on a regular basis but every few months or so I'll go in and look around. The clothes are so funny and I love weird t-shirts.

You would be surprised to see how many celebrity and non-celebrity peoople shop at Goodwill. In todays economy, Goodwill has become the place to be for bargains. Not everything in Goodwill is junk, by no means. I located a book, i paid .75 cents for and sold it for $75.00! Shopping at Goodwill does help people with physical disabilities.
-
Indeed I have from time to time.
-
Not specifically Goodwill, but there are a couple of stores here similiar and YES, I do. You can get some good bargins and help a worthy cause. Looks like a WIN/WIN situation. I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks about me shopping there. I see a lot or well off people there. Wasting money has never been "fashionable" to me.
-
Yep.
-
Yes, I have shopped and donated there (and other simlar organizations) from time to time.
-
I am wearing right now clothes I purchased at Goodwill. I have a bag of stuff to drop off the next time I go to town.
-
Several times.
-
Sure I have. :o)
-
yes...I have found some great deals there.
-
Yep. Gotta love the prices and sometime you can find some really nice stuff there.
-
Sure! I have an antique house; new furnishings just don't fit. I'm always hunting for period glassware, kinicknacks, needlework, etc.
-
Yup!

Weekly. We also have Saver's, several small hole-in-the wall charity shops, and an LDS shop. Every once in a while I hit the Goodwill last stop. This is the place just before the stuff goes to the dump. It often amazes me what they ask for some items, and Goodwill has pissed me off to the point of writing the corporate office over differences in prices between female and male uniforms. Mind you, these were scrubs.
-
yes, a couple of times...
-
Yep, needed a cheap cowboy hat for my kids costume party.
-
Yep and got good deals.
-
I did once while on vacation. I though that particular one had more reasonable prices and better quality items than my local Salvation Army. There is not a Goodwill around where I live, but several SAs. I almost always find SAs prices not what I would call in "thrift store" range.
-
yes! i love the goodwill. one time I even bought a pair of jeans and found a 5 dollar bill in the pockets:P
-
O ya. When my 10-y/o analog TV finally died I went to Goodwill and bought a used Samsung 19" for only $6. The remote control was missing, but I had a 'universal' remote lying around and it works fine. It's not "HD", which is fine with me. TV programming is 90% advertising. Who needs to watch advertising in "High Definition"?
-
Several times years ago.
-
Sometimes for some work clothes and I sure save alot of money.
-
Yep. I've saved thousands of dollars over the years. I just bought a mint condition Blues Brothers T-shirt for $2.50
-
If I'm near one, I'll go in and putter around in the glassware area.
-
All the time. I shop for furniture, fix it up and sell it
-
Sure do. It's amazing what some people donate there!
-
Love the Goodwill and St. Vincent de-Paul and Salvation Army shops!!
-
Oh yes. I get most of my clothes and household gadgets at Goodwill and other thrift shops. There's no shame in buying second-hand. The shame is in paying $100 for a pair of mall store jeans that LOOK like they came from a thrift shop.
-
Constantly. I stop at the second hand stores BEFORE heading to the mall for what I need.
-
Yeah, I used to deliver newspapers at 3AM and went past a donation trailer on my route...I got a dresser, mattress set, and couch from there and it never cost me a cent! Great place when you're broke and married in to a family way too young. Glad those days are over.
-
Yes, many times.......I've found some really great men's shirts there; some looked as though they'd only been worn once....in great shape...........!!!!
-
Definitely!
-
a couple of times
