"Harper" (1966) with Paul Newman as Lew Harper. Trivia Note: In the previous few years, Paul Newman's most successful movies had started with an "H". "The Hustler" (1961) and "Hud" (1963) were boffo, with all his other movies not doing so well at the box office. When he was offered the movie "Archer", he agreed to take the role only if the main character's name (and the movie's title) were changed to something starting with an "H". Later that year he accepted a role based only on the title of the movie, "Hombre" (1967). Hope this helps.
