  • "Elevator music" has always been appealing to me, even in my waking hours. :) Try recordings by: * The Melachrino Orchestra ( sometimes called The Melachrino Strings ) * Percy Faith Orchestra * Ray Conniff Orchestra and Singers These would most likely be of the relatively older-songs ( from the 60's and 70's) than 'today,' possibly. Also, you might try research from this book : * " Elevator Music : A Surreal History of Muzak, Easy-Listening, and Other Moodsong" by Joseph Lanza And, by now, I'm sure you've heard Enya's music. Some would call her 'elevator-type music.'
  • How about "Kenny G".
  • There is a German group that produces instrumental music that you might call "elevator music". They call their group "Cusco" and there are many video clips of their work on YouTube. Here's one .....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zT-fvWks64 Cusco - "Maya Temple"
