you can download Itunes at www.itunes.com or napster at www.napster.com if you use WIndows Media PLayer, the cheapest songs legally downloadable are 88 cents from Walmart Music

I have purchased from Rhapsody: http://www.rhapsody.com/welcome.html and itunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/ You can legally buy songs and tv shows on itunes and music in rhapsody. You may burn those you purchase to a CD's and transfer to an MP3 player. No viruses or spyware of any kind.

There's www.Limewire.com You can have a setting that will make your searches only for [B]LEGAL[/B] music. However you can also turn it off and find illigal music as well. But yes the best places are napster and itunes.
