No. I hate them all, and it makes me happy when one of those animals is put to death. The only people I feel sorry for are their victims and the relatives who have to sit through a decade or more of BS appeals.

NO. I don't want to see an innocent person killed. I supported capital punishment for a long time, but the more I learned about it, the more I came to oppose it. In the end, several factors changed my mind. I think that putting someone in prison for life at the taxpayers' expense bothers me more. The amount of money spent to house, feed, and provide better medical coverage than I have as a taxpayer really bothers me. The death penalty i a failure because it takes a minimum of ten years to carry out and that time needs to be reduced by 95%.

i am absolutely opposed to the death penalty but feel no penalty for the guilty who are on death row. There are too many people who are innocent or in jail for bs offenses to waste my pity on murders. eff 'em

Who wouldnt, its only human to feel sorry for them, but on the other hand they have commited terrible crimes and they are not there for nothing and sometimes its only fair so that the families of the victims can greive in peace.

No I can't say that I do. I do feel very sorry and sad for those who are there and are innocent. I think that would be a very small number though. I feel very sorry for all the victims and their families and friends. They will continue to grieve after those on death row have been executed.

No. Mostly they are there for good reason. In the cases where they don't belong there, millions of appeals guard against miscarriage of justice.

I feel the death penalty needs to be put into overdrive. The bastard Scott Peterson will die of old age in the California Penal System's Death Row. Also, these guys need to die screaming as their victims did. They showed no mercy to the ones they murdered, why should we show any to them?

No. No one should be killed for any reason, no matter what they have done wrong. Killing is wrong period. And especially to kill them because of their own act of killing someone is cruel and unusual. Put shortly, they should not be on death row, or put to death for that matter.

Only the ones that have been railroaded on flimsy evidence with a certain degree of uncertainty regarding their convictions. The ones that have been convicted and sentences to death due to ill refutable evidence, no way.

Sorry, how about we ask the vic's that got them that hefty sentence? How about we ask them if the pain and torture of their deaths are worthy of a person sitting their ass on a bench in death row for 10 years while their corpse rot in the ground often far to young to die? . I have been apart of the law for 15 years will retire in less then 6 weeks, I cant tell you how many families I have had to tell that their kid, father, mother, sister, aunt, uncle, grandparent, grandchild died at the hands not to mention the mercy of a half crazed wacko.......How about feeling sorry for the vic's if you want to feel sorry for anyone!

I do not feel sorry for the fact that they have been convicted, but I am sorry that they will die by legal murder. I do not support the death penalty. Juries are people, people make mistakes. Every year more death row inmates are cleared of their convictions because of new technology. The death penalty is archaic and the US is one of only a handful of western countries who still impose it. The death penalty does not deter crime -- that's been shown over and over. I would like to see it prohibited in all states.
