Can I use a standard USB keyboard directly on a PS2?

It depends on which brand it is. Most keyboards work fine on a ps2.

but can i tie a usb to the end of my ps/2 as well? I have a ps/2 keyboard that I'd prefer to use as usb, it has no special functions.
