It wouldn't matter. Whoever approached me first.
-
Whichever is more able to help me.
-
Whoever seemed nicer.
-
Whichever one offered first.
-
Your not going to get the answers your looking for but nice try :)
-
I'm finding this impossible to dignify with an answer. Sorry.
-
It would depend on their apperance/how they were dressed. Most likely I would probably say to both of them "I'm fine I don't need any help"
-
Probably whoever asked first. If I needed help then I probably wouldn't even consider what a person's skin pigment was. I would just be thankful for the help.
-
LOL! WHAT? ...honestly, anyone in their right mind would probably accept help from whoever offered it first...or whoever was most competent in the matter under question.
-
Whichever one was best able to help. It would be racist to pick either for any other reason.
-
The first person.
-
I would ask them to fight it out for the privilege.
-
The black man....i don't trust whitie.
-
the first person that offered help :D
-
The first one to ask.
-
I'll refuse their offers...I prefer to ask, Not someone offering, who had said I need help!!!!
-
It's not that "black and white" haha. I honestly don't think like that and that is wrong to think you would accept help from someone depending on their color. If you are trying to muscle a big screen TV into your SUV, you aren't going to be thinking, "Man, I wish there was a black/white guy here to help me...". You might be like, "Man, I wish there was a strong white/black guy her to help me..." lol.
-
The one who would be better able to help me. Say I needed a math problem solved and the Black man was a teacher and the white man was a Dentist... Say I needed a cast, and the black man was a baker and the white man was a doctor... Say I needed to lift a tree truck off my leg because I was in a Freak accident, Then I would then tell them BOTH to work together. one to lift the thing and one to pull me out.
-
neither, if i don't know the person i don't want them to approach me, if i do know the person color doesn't matter.
-
You can't tell us to be honest and truthful, then limit our answers to your idea of the truth. I would choose either. Or both. The help offered does not come tied to a skin color. Or I would accept help from someone that was red, brown, yellow, or green with orange spots and antennae.
-
If I was completely alone, I'm not sure I'd accept help from either. (Assuming I was out in the middle of nowhere and my car broke down or something.) I am a female who probably couldn't fight off anyone if I tried. To be honest, I'd feel better if either seemed to be with a family. I am not judging on race here, but more for my safety. If I was in a store and dropped something or needed help getting something, sure either one. Whoever offered to help. Or any similar circumstance.
-
Whichever one asked me first.
-
Who ever is there and offers to help me
-
I am white, but with out a doubt, I would take the "black mans" help.
-
Neither one. I never need help and I don't trust strangers!* :p *JK
-
whichever one got on their knees first
-
it would depend on what they were weraing, how they spoke or just if they freaked me out. i usually wourl refuse help any way, i dotn like feeling like a damsal in destress ( is that even how you spell it??) i dont mind gentlemen, they are great... but would be good if it was my boyfriend beign the gentleman, not really strangers. i am not sure if that even made sense? hah my bad!
-
I don't accept unsolicited help from anyone. I don't trust strangers, period.
-
What am I asking them to help me with? Why not accept help from both of them and get it done faster? Help is help, I don't care what color your skin is if you can help me out.
-
Either. Why would it make a difference? If I have the choice of which one I would allow to help me, then it is pretty clear that I really don't either ones help.
-
I guess whoever asked to help me first..doesnt really matter if they are black or white :)
-
I'll make them arm-wrestle right there & watch, the winner will help me :) And when it's too heavy for one guy, then I'll defy your "only one man" rule & ask them both!
-
I would accept the first offer of help, provided i felt safe in doing so.
-
The indian guy!!!!! They dance better!!!!
-
I don't see the difference. About a month ago I went to my bank and when I went to leave my truck would not start. A man came out soon after and offered to give me a jump, he pulled his pickup alongside mine and gave me a jumpstart. He happened to be black. I would have gladly accepted the help from a man or woman of any color. He was elderly, and he gave me some good advice.."Son, you should go buy yoself a new battry". Nice man, good advice, I took it.
-
Neither, where I live they both would be trying to hustle me somehow!
-
I'm afraid the pre-conditions attached to your question ('You can't say both') mean it is unanswerable. I *would* say thanks to both and accept help from both. That is the only honest and truthful answer I can give I'm afraid.
-
Well if the black guy was smarter and I needed help with a physics problem then I would go with the black guy. If the white guy was stronger and I was trapped under a car, then I would want the white guy...this could go on and on so I guess my answer is whichever one can help me with the particular problem I am having at that moment!
-
Honestly, it depends on what I needed help with and more importantly, who I found I could trust more. Once I was at the mall and I was having a hard time w/ my stroller and i had my kids crying and i saw this black couple walk by and i asked themf or help and the guy was super nice , he let me call my husband casue we couldnt figure out the stroller then finally we did but they were very nice.
