    While you are watching the broadcast the computer is using up virtual memory. More the number of broadcasts larger is the virtual memory being used. As the memory allocated remains fixed the computer tends to slow down. Hence although your internet connection rate remains same overall effect is to slow down your computer. However this process can be reversed to some extent by dedicating more size to virtual memory.
