  • I'm looking for it too. Milton Drake, co-writer of Maizy Doats, said the inspiration for Mairzy Doats came from hearing his daughter reciting the English nursery rhyme "Cowzy tweet". All I've found is the first line you list, with possibly a second line of "A squiddely doisters two, wooden shoe?" Similar rhymes I've seen include the phrases "liddle bearzy tunny" or "liddle clamsy dalgy; Officially dalgy two, wooden shoe?"
  • Correction - in my answer "algy" should be "dalgy" (or even "towel gee") (I've corrected it)
