No. Think about other "-less" words that don't have a "-ful" counterpart: hapless witless shapeless topless etc.

Yes! I defintly believe "pointful" should be a word! I am often quite a sarcastic person and sometimes find myself saying "well that's pointful" to get my point across. It's defintely a necessary word for me...

8-8-2017 There are a lot of possible constructions that don't actually exist. "Pointful" is like "very perfect": you are intensifying something that has reached its limit.

Speaking words that nobody else knows or words that everybody else know do not exist only makes you sound illiterate. Which can cause laughter behind your back and interviewers to not give you the job.
