  • Water will never exist exceeding 100C, unless you apply pressure. Even if you took a red hot iron bar at 1000C and stuck it into some water, the water would heat to 100 then evaporate. It doesn't depend on the water, it depends on the amount of heat applied, which, as far as I know can go up as high as you want.
