  • LOL!! That movie looks friggin' hilarious! I must see it. Hmm...I could go for several haunted house movies, but those would all be clips which I've posted before, so...I was thinking of The Island of Doctor Moreau (Which I initially, for some reason, thought to be a zombie movie, but it was far from being that-still, I quite enjoyed the movie.) but that's not quite right... So, I thought about Labyrinth, a movie I've loved ever since I can remember. Granted, it certainly has primary main characters, like Bowie, some creatures and the girl, but nobody can deny that the labyrinth itself often takes center stage throughout the whole movie. And of course, who could forget, The Stuff. It looks stupid now, but it kinda freaked me out when I was little. :/ But my "pièce de résistance" lol is Street Trash. Now this movie is totally disgusting, not only visually, but it's premise is extremely disturbing. The story revolves around homeless folk living in a crap part of town where the city dump is located, and it's just a bunch of little stories with no real point...the guy who directed it said he wanted to do one thing with this movie; upset people. However, the bums and their adventures centres around a special drink, old wine that the bums find, and when you drink it, it melts you and you die. All the little stories are related to this wine somehow, although in the end climax it pretty much gets forgotten... WARNING, the video I'm posting is rather unsettling, at least I think so, not for the faint of heart!
  • "Field of Dreams" (1989)
  • I think one of my all time favorites should qualify. Out of Africa:
  • I'd say the Matrix is bigger than the characters in the Matrix. Totally cool.
  • Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles
  • The Shining (1980) TRON (1982) Dark City (1998)
  • Great scene from Tombstone. Here is the translation of what they say in latin. http://www.dacc.cc.il.us/~jeff/tombstone-latin.html
  • How's this for left field? I'll go with "West Side Story". It's clearly an URBAN story. Can you imagine those gangs in another setting? Like .. um .. the desert? Or a sunny beach? Or in the countryside? Nope, needs those city streets. So? Here's the trailer .. :)
  • Spencer Tracy - "The Old Man & the Sea"
