have you kissed a boy before? How many people have you kissed if you have/ and have you had suffered any serious rejection? These are all possible explanations and it's I presume quite normal to be scared if you are inexperienced or have had bad experiences. Just go for it that's the best advice I can give.

If this is your first kiss it may just be jitters. If your not ready to be kissed don't be pressured into it. If your excited but nervous let it happen on it's own. You may want to start with a peck on the cheek or hand or kiss his shoulder while sitting next to him. If you take it slow it'll be more magical :)
