Island Bali, Indonesia, not too far away from Australia. the weather always nice, friendly people, good, but cheap food(everything is cheap actually), a lot of interesting things to do (sightseeing), beautiful beaches, where you can sunbathe, dive(in some of them), tremendous rice terraces. I really want to come back and maybe spend the rest of my life there.

So far (of the places I've been to) my favorite vacation destinations would be Hawaii (Waikiki/Honolulu or Lahaina) or Las Vegas. Las Vegas is a more managable trip, as it's closer to home, and less expensive, so we can go for a quick trip rather than trying to make a whole vacation out of it. However, when I have the time and the money, I'll go back to Hawaii.

Everyone in our family is a roller coaster junky. We go to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio as often as we can. We like the abundance of coasters in that park and we enjoy being by the water. We usually stay in the historic Breakers Hotel. Cruises to anywhere are our second favorite vacation.

Jamaica mon!!

Orlando, Florida. My parents took me their when I was about 6 years old, they'd never been outside Europe, and neither had I. It was unbelievable, at that time there was nothing else remotely like it anywhere else. Disneyworld, Sea World, Cypress Gardens etc, fantastic shopping, cheap eating out, we loved it so much we came back time and time again. I do think that nowadays it has lost some of its magic, since the parks are becoming much more commercial (EPCOT center in particular), and the amusements have been superseded in many cases elsewhere, but there's still nothing quite like it in my opinion. Actually, thinking about it is making feel really nostalgic and teary-eyed! I might go and watch some of our holiday videos from years ago now.

CANADA - Love it!

It depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for castles and ancient stuff, go to London England. If you're looking for fun in the sun, go to the Bahama's or the Caribbean, for Florida. My fave is England!!
-
I have enjoyed and gotten excellent value from Puerto Rico, Mexico and...wait for it... Scotland! Nice people and great places to take kids. Loads to do. Nice food (yes even in Scotland). The West coast of Mexico is my fave so far. Huatulco was stunning. Puerto Rico is small and an unsung gem. Perfect little rainforest, perfect beaches, cool old fort and it's a bargain. Scotland is just gorgeous. I have been in all seasons and the sights, the landscapes and the people are always a treat.

I've been around the planet, but for a quick and easy vacation Cozumel has always been my fav. It's dirt cheap, easy to arrange, only 3 1/2 hours away, offers every type of diving from cenotes (caves) on the mainland to wrecks and naturally a plethora of reefs. It's one of the few areas in the Carib with a Marine Park (protected by law). Beer is cheap, nightlife great, shopping in San Miguel is fun (I hate shopping as a rule), the resorts are first class and there are quite a few Mayan ruins to see. The locals are great folk.

Maui. I've never really traveled anywhere, but my husband and I flew from California to Maui to get married and stayed a week for our honeymoon. We got to go snorkeling, went to a luau, drove up a volcano, hiked through a bamboo forest that grew so dense it began to block out the sun, drove the road to Hana-twice and almost ran out of gas the first trip, and hiked up to waterfalls. Best. Trip. Ever. Especially for a girl who grew up in a very low income family where we sometimes didn't have electricity, a phone, much groceries in the house or enough warm clothes to wear in the winter. :)
