Absolutely. I've been in school for my entire life. School is my springboard to a better life.

No, it's like living under a big glass dome, it's so artificial, just a bunch meaningless littlw people running around doing meaningless little tasks, no one's a real person, school kills all the real people, everyone's just another student, just another peer. I hate school.

I am not IN school at the moment, but having graduated college for almost 2 years now, it's sad to say I actually want to take classes just to keep learning new things...of course, I could do without all the homework. :)

I hated high school. The school was boring, most of the teachers were boring, and most of the students were boring. I LOVED college / university.

OH MY GAWD, YES! It is like Life Lite! What's not to like. They tell you what to do, you do it, you get a pat on the back and possibly a gold STAR! And then at the beginning of the year, you get to go back to the school supply section of your local drug store! P.S. All that I have said is true, above. But please don't take my personal exuberance to be a statement of ignorance about how easy it is to become a school-hater. I am a lawyer and my current charge is very relevant to this question. I represent about 20 foster children at the present time who have been abused and neglected by their parents. I won't go on and on about this, but it is fair to say that most of them hate school. It is not "their" school. They are hoping to go home and get back in the school that their friends go to, but...often this is impossible since their parents can't beat their drug habits. About thrice a week one of these kids e-mails or calls me at home at night to see if their parents are working their programs so that they can go "home." What can I say? "No, sweet child. Statistically speaking, everyone but you knows that it is very unlikely you ever go home again"? Of course not. I pull the file and tell them what their parents have (not) done.

not while I was there.... now that I am out and in the real world where every one expects results... i miss school if I knew then, what I know now ( just about life in general) I'd have a great time, and ace every year. well B anyway and still have a blast!

Hated School, Loved College. It makes a big difference when you're actually learning by choice.

I liked school when I was young... up until about age 12 or so? After that, didn't like it. I was bored all the time. I though that all the tasks and assignments I had to do were pointless. I didn't like school at all. I didn't even like college. I hated going to class, I hated homework, I hated everything. I am extremely glad to be done.

I've always been curious, loved books and enjoyed people. Therefore, for me, school was the place to be. The encouragement from my parents made me love it even more.

I hated any school..lol it sucked bad and i droped out in 94 but managed to get my ged.went to 2 classes in college and thats it.

Half the time yes. Half the time no until about senior year in high school when I liked it almost all the time. But I had alot of traumas for 10 years or so before that time.

I'm apparently not the only one who feels this way: I hated high school, but loved college. In high school everything was a popularity contest where how much money your parents made and what sports you played determined your "worth." In college everyone gets a dose of the real world and most of that frivilous stuff goes out the window... what matters is what kind of grades you make and what kind of person you are (to a certain degree.)

Not really. Considering I spend 5 hours there every day, 5 days a week. And then when I finally get home I have to do homework. And on my 2 days break each week, I have to do more homework. School takes over your childhood, and gives you no freedom in your teenage years. I HATE SCHOOL!

There was certain times when school was the worst, but other days it was the best. Depended on what day you caught me. I was a pretty popular chick with the guys, though, so that added a little extra something and made school atleast interesting.

I went to a boarding school… it was fantastic! I’ve never known such grate people to just have a laugh and steel a car to rive around the back field with as those I met at school… ah the dorm parties and the 3:30 in the morning illegal beer runs. Oh, god times, crazy days… I LEARNED NOTHING… unless you count knowing your way around a v10 duel supercharged engine blindfolded a skill. I learned a lot about cars and bikes form my tech teacher… long live Mr. B, he used to buy old cars from the crushing yard, then, once me and the lads had finished doing them up he’d sell it off and buy two new ones, by the end of our third year we’ turned three ford transits into campers and made a 1985 dodge charger actually stop and turn corners! I LOVED SCHOOL!

It taught me to spell "honest". For that alone I liked it.
