  • Yes I have about 30 left but I do not play them anymore.
  • I have a fairly large collection I inherited from my dad, I've never actualy counted them all, but they fill up the bottom half of a bookcase, so there must be at least 200.
  • Just three. Bob Marley- No Woman No Cry The Beatles- A Hard Day's Night The Stone Roses- Garage Flower
  • Loads of them and the original 60s versions My Mother was a rock chick and knew a lot of the pop people. We still get all the tapes and stuff that Dave Clark produces. I have the first ever Yes Album (My mom touted it around the clubs for 50p) with Jons wife Jenny. They were flatmates and Jon sort of moved in
  • Only one- Queen's A Night at the Opera. There are about 150 total in my household, unfortunately there not mine.
  • I have around 600 of them. It's a very eclectic collection. Anyone around 30 or older will recognize a lot of it, but I've never had anyone look through them, and not find something they've never heard of.
  • I have a couple of hundred vinyl LP's, all kept in mint condition,I'll never sell them, Album Artwork back then was superb. I also own an early Master, that was cut on an aluminium disc.
  • I wish I did!
  • I own about 200 LPs. Most of them are classical music, with a few others sprinkled in. I had at least twice that many, but have sold them off as I have been able to replace them with CDs. I still play them on a fairly regular basis.
  • Probably about 70; but my brother has them in storage. I'd like to burn some of them to CDs. Especially, Jethro Tull and The Hollies.
  • I've probably got a couple of hundred, singles and albums and 12" singles. I've never counted them and now they're stuffed away in the loft, gathering dust - I no longer have a record player, and even though I never play them I could never get rid, because they mean too much too me.
  • Yes. Approx. 300 LPs. In addition I have over 100 45s and about 50 8-track tapes. Long live old music!
  • A few hundred and a few EPs, singles, and non-vinyl records (I own a phonograph that still plays beautifully).
  • geez i have oodles..elvis, the beatles, Cher... lol vinyl rox yo!
  • SORRY DUPLICATE ANSWER
  • yes about 200 and also about 50 45's
  • Original country, rock n roll, pop, from the 50's, 60's, and 70's mint condition and not for sale.
  • Lots, from the 60's onwards.
  • I do, but not a ton. I started keeping up my own "specialty" collection with punk and Bob Dylan records.
  • I've been collecting vinyl since my early teens. I don't have lots of albums in my collection, but I have around 4500 vinyl releases, of which about 10-15% are albums. I haven't got round to cataloguing my CD collection, but I will have to soon. The spectre of putting my collection onto some electronic-only format is essential and has been staring me in the face for some time, However, I'm not looking forward to such a task with any great zest, as it will probably mean goodbye to any free weekends for the next 3 years or so.
  • i used to have a lot of colored vinyl, the cramps, the creatures and siouxsie and the banshees but an ex took most of them. i still have however, micheal jackson's thriller and morris day and the time. i'd say i stil have around 20.
  • Oh, yeah. I have around 100 albums with absolutely no way to play them. But, would I ever get rid of the them? No way! Unless someone wants to pay me an out-of-this world amount of money for The Beatles, Elton John, The Eagles, Chicago, etc. I used to buy an album a month as a teen-ager, when I had money.
  • I have about 100 of them. Some classic rock like the Beatles but the majority is classical music that I bought from a library auction. I don't listen too it a whole lot anymore, so should probably donate it.
  • Yes, about 300-350 albums and about 30 45s.
  • i would have at least 8-9 hundred lps
  • I own about 600. I bought my first LP when I was 5 years old, Beatles 65.
  • About 200 Techno from early 1990s to about 2001 another aprox 60 Punk from the 1980s
  • A couple thousand and a couple hundred 45's. I have doubles and triples of some albums, when they were left at my place after parties and no one claimed them.
  • About 300 albums and maybe 40 45s.... I think I still have some 78s, too. And I have some real old extra thick, extra brittle records from about 1910-18. They are only about 10" in diameter. ANd the album art is so important to old records. I love the way they look. It's like miniature art, paintings fit for your wall
  • I've got a gang of them that were left to me by my Grandmother when she passed. Mario Lanza 6-LP set, some big band stuff. I have no idea what to do with it! I guess I could put it up on eBay, but I've got about 100 albums! I'm tempted to go down and buy a cheap turntable just so I can listen to some of the Tommy Dorsey stuff. Love him!
  • Although I don't buy them anymore, I still have all of the LPs I bought before shifting to CDs - about 400 of them. I still listen to my LPs, although hopping up every 20 minutes to raise the tonearm has lost its allure, particularly when my arthritis is acting up. LP sound quality remains better than that available from most CD players, even today - those budget DVD players make pretty poor CD players.
  • I only have one, The Who's Magic Bus, but my dad has TONS of vinyl.
  • I have 4 boxes full of them..was a collection that my dad had, they have been in storage since his death.
  • I have one, Charlie Burton
  • hundreds.
  • I have about 1200 including 12" singles. I worked in Disco Record Promotion in the 1970s and wrote music columns so I got rid of a lot of them and transferred to CD. I would love to sell them eventually.
  • in over 40y's I have thousands of LP's and over 1000 singles and EP's ,over 1000 8 track tapes and heaps of cassetts ...plus 500 or so 78rpm records and 100-12" spools of recorded music (24 track)...and the new fangled things ...um... cd's!! I have 500 of those as well
  • hundreds of them..all stored away..I just can't seem to part with them...my history:)
  • Yes, I do have a collection of over 200. They're mostly jazz, (old school). Be Blessed!!!
  • Yes loads of them. I have my Mothers collection from the 60/70s and she was in the Music Industry. I think my earliest is a 1961 Dylan Album
  • Yes... Over 200 in a closet, right now.
  • Yes. I still have some, but not many. Maybe about 20. Some are collector's items, I have been told. A couple of Tiny Tim albums and a Herman's Hermits album. Also the original No Nukes. I don't have a record player anymore, so they're stashed away in a closet. I miss vinyl though. Never warmed to CDs. :o(
  • My dad has a lot of them from the 40's and 50's.
  • I have a couple hundred that I have held on to from the 70's and 80's. Would you like to buy them?
  • i have a stack of old ones that i think are vinyl but only about 30 new ones and most of them are some kind of plastic
  • Being a disc jockey back in the early 60s, i have acquired quite a collection of the "good stuff". Lots of dj copies. originals by most all of the 50s and 60s artists. Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Elvis, many never played. They are not for sale. They are my retirement fund.
  • In the neighborhood of about 600, almost all in pristine condition (the vinyl, not the jackets unfortunately). I bought the last one around 1985 or 86, not exactly sure. Probably the greatest value in them is the fact that I bought mostly unpopular stuff, a lot of which is now impossible to find. Too bad the value isn't getting anywhere though. I have a Deep Purple Machine Head Picture disc, I bought for eight dollars, and was offered fifty the day I got it in the mail. I should have taken it. It's worth about $50 now, which is far less now than it was when the offer was made. I don't want to sell it anyway. The music is worth more than that to me.
  • I still have some left. Bill Nelson - The Love That Whirls (Diary Of A Thinking Heart). This is the version that came with the Beauty & The Beast instrumental album. I also have Bill Nelson's Flaming Desire And Other Passions ep. Others include Gary Numan Living Ornaments 80, and Yukihiro Takahashi - What Me Worry? YMO - Naughty Boys.
  • My dad has a ton from like the 40's and 50's.
  • I have not counted them, but I have dozens, some classical, some popular. I tried to sell them at a garage sale, but nobody bought any of them.
  • yes....3
  • I may have about 200 but i've not seen them for some time
  • I only have about 80 or so, most of them are either Trip-Hop, House, Trance, and Break beats. I started buying vinyl when I bought my turntables about two years ago. I don't really buy vinyl anymore unless I come across something rare that I HAVE to get my hands on.
  • Sure, maybe about fifty. I don't have a turn table anymore though.
  • about 7 45s that i picked up from various places
  • 150 But can’t play them due to a broken gramophone
  • No I pretty much gave them up awhile back, Since Cds emerged I pretty much gave my collection away and til this day I must admit I miss them very much.
  • Odd means 'and a few more' in sentences like these: My collection of vinyl records weighs ten odd kilograms (between 22 and 33 pounds). I wouldn't want to take a photograph of my mother becasue she's seventy odd.
