  • Depending on the breed of rabbit, how small or large it is, it can become pregnant as early as 10-12 weeks of age. That is why it is better to separate all rabbits when they are weaned at 8 weeks of age. But that is way to early to be bred safely and for their health and the health of their litter it is best if you wait until they are a minimum of 6-7 months old for dwarf rabbits, 7-8 months old for average size and up to 9 months old for giant rabbits.
