  • Not as much as i need to. I get frustrated that it is like I folllow it why isn't everyone else. Then I realize that with all the FALSE Religions and with the immorality of this country it is HARD to be a Christian just have to keep the faith!

Are you sure you aren't being judgmental?
  • I read it everyday, sometimes I get lazy and look it up on my laptop.
  • i never read that thing. i don't even care.
  • Yes, I do.
  • No, I read sporadically.
  • I read the Bible along with Bible research almost daily. Just reading the Bible is good but it is better when you understand what is said in the language it was originally commented. Words change over the years since written, the way people talk and say things have changed over the time since written. Some words are changed to make the Bible masculine. There is much more to understanding the Bible than just reading it. Just reading has done more harm in many instances.
  • During hard times in my life, I often reflect on Genesis 27: 46. I also find comfort in Leviticus 12: 1-5.
  • Do you eat everyday? If so, the Bible should be read almost everyday. It is food for the mind, body and soul. (Matthew 4:4)

Actually, it's "McDonald's." Other than that, you are not being specific. You did not mention what specific type of food(s) there you would you rather eat. *Facepalm*

The Whopper is from Burger King. *Double Facepalm*
  • I usually read my scriptures online now. I'm not disciplined or as dedicated as I should be about it. I'm not a good Christian. But I usually end up looking up some scriptures in each day.
    • Thinker
What makes you think you are not a good Christian? Do you live by the Law Of Love as commanded by Jesus Christ? What do you do that makes you think you are not a good Christian? Please tell me.
    • Linda Joy
I don't set a very good example. Now that my boys are gone I'm no longer diligent about reading scripture daily, like I did when mgs was young. It was a nightly routine. First I read to him each night. Then when he learned how to read he started reading with me such sweet memories. I miss him.
    • Thinker
Those are sweet good memories. I remember when my mother would come read to me, not the Bible however. I received a little monthly magazine named, "Wee Wisdom" It had all kinds of short stories and little prayers. I was in grade 2 I think. It would be so great to get to do that again. My mother died 10 years ago at age 96.

My mother never read to me that I can recall. She died at 58 I think in 1991?
    • Thinker
I'm sorry you never had that joy. It is sad when mothers are lost.

My mother was hit by a car at age twelve. It put a hole in her forehead, and damaged her frontal lobe. I can't fault her for what she did or didn't do as it's not exactly her fault.
  • Yes, at least once every 20 years. Just to punish myself.
  • not as much as i should
  • Not just the Bible but other books and information about the Bible. I am currently reading the Book Of Enoch. Many have said in the past it should have been included in the Bible. It was widely read before the current Bible was assembled,
