I do believe in Him. My 2 cents.

I believe in that yes. I don't believe we came from monkeys. It's the whole evolutionism vs. creationism argument. People go either way. Good way to get people arguing. ;)

1) I have been raised as a Christian and I used to believe all those things, more or less. Now I would not consider myself whether a Theist nor a Christian anymore. 2) However, I find it still interesting to answer questions of that kind, when I see them. I am rarely using the category view. I don't see the category "Christianity" as a separate part of Answerbag. There is only one really separate part of AB for me and that is "Adults" (I don't have so much interest for that one, though). 3) I think there are a lot of users of that kind, you can see that at the answers that you get. But there are also Theists, followers of some Abrahamic religion, and among them Christians of many different Churches.

If Christian means someone who follows the teachings and ways of Christ then, according to http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/1029247 Muslims are excellent Christians. If ‘son of God’ ts defined as in Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." then yes Muslims, that is 1.4 billion people, believe that Jesus is son of God. Those who are learned in the Christian world are dropping the belief in virgin birth because the word ‘almah’ in the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 has been wrongly translated as "VIRGIN" the correct translation apparently is "a young woman" The correct Hebrew word for VIRGIN we’re told, is bethulah. However, 1.4 billion Muslims have no problem accepting virgin birth. “Died for our sins” is a problem, because 1- Jesus never declared that as his mission 2- To someone who’d never heard of Jesus the story in the Gospel reads more like the story of a good man framed and betrayed rather than the story of a man sacrificing his life to save others. 3- the idea goes against the central teaching of the OT in Ezekiel 18:20 that no one shall die for the sin of another. “raised from the dead for our justification” is also a problem because Jesus did not teach that, instead he said “if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Matthew19:17
