My boyfriend and I rode our bikes to the park and had a picnic in the gazebo by the bayou. It was a mild spring day. We played on the swings and slide. Then, we took a leisurely stroll hand in hand around the park. Finally, we went back to my house where we sat on the trunk of my mom's car talking and I got my first kiss under the stars.

Ah at the tender age of 12. God they were the days. That was a long, long time ago!

Your basic standard movie. We saw "Oh God" with John Denver and George Burns. Snacks at a diner across the street afterward. I was 13, he was 14. One mother drove us to the theater, the other mother came and got us. My parents had always said they wouldn't let me date until I was 16, but this was a special boyfriend. Our families were close friends, the boy was very, very respectable (think John-Boy Walton) and of course with the mothers in charge of the transportation, things were highly supervised. I was home by 9:30. Perhaps the relationship would have lasted well into our adult years. I will never know, because this boy was tragically killed in a hunting accident two years later. Sorry for the downer, but I had to tell how the story ended.

Gees that was around 20 years ago, from memory to dinner then the movies. No idea what i saw at the movies though.

It was with a boy called David Fyford and I was about 10 or 11. We used to play together on the park, and one day he asked me out properly. I didn't like him particularly, but I'd never had a boyfriend so I said yes. We went along to the local 'restaurant' with another couple of ten year olds and all I could think about was whether I should kiss him or not. Turns out we weren't allowed to eat in the restaurant because nobody had remembered to take any money, so we went back to the park and "hung out".. I was still petrified about if the kiss would happen or not, and what I should do ... when David asked me right out if he could kiss me. I wasn't prepared, so I quickly thought of an excuse, and the only thing that entered my ten year old head was that his fingernails were dirty. So I said "No," and he said "why" and I said " because you've got dirty nails," and he said "if I go home and wash them, will you kiss me then?" I said "yes". But while he was gone, I went home, and never spoke to him again.

Honestly, it still hasn't happened yet. But I don't care. Just because im a teenager [over 13 thats all ill say] and i still haven't had a girlfriend or a real relationship doesn't annoy me if people think im not 'cool'. It will happen when it is supposed to, and i will tell someone i like her if i do, no being scared. Before i would never tell a girl i like her or ask her out, well i already did. And ill do it again when i know i honestly like someone.

Yep. Met her in a golf league and asked her if she wanted to go golfing at a course we both liked. It was about a 12 hour day with dinner and a kiss at the end. Funny thing is, she wasn't sure if it was a date because I was kind of casual about the whole day. Worked out though. Still dating three years later.
