Currently doing tests and not going too bad considering I knock down many cones. But I have practiced many years before with arcade games.
-
Thrid time lucky for me. Failed my first because I was going 5 mph *below* the limit - the car I was in couldn't go any faster! Second time was bad gear change. Thrid time - it just felt right and I knew I'd passed. I do know a friend who failed nine times in a row. She passed her tenth - after opting to go for an automatic instead. We don't get into her car whilst conscious.
-
Just once, thankfully
-
Twice.

-
I passed my test for a class B drivers license and pilots license on my first try.
-
Twice - I passed the second time.
-
I passed the first time. I already had had a car (bought it myself, so it was nothing special, but still WHEELS!) before even being old enough to make the appointment, so I made darn sure not to fail. I was too excited to get going.
-
ONE passed first time, even thought the Instructer asked me fve times more questions than usual . I am lucky i have a good memory. He really wanted to fail me. I think he was a mysoginist
-

-
Just once.
-

Only once on both the written and driving portions. Passed the driving portion and got my license on Friday November 13, 1998.
-
First try. 19 out of 20 on the written, perfect road test. :)
-
Once, 96% baby.
-
I passed first time.
-
Once
-
Just the once - I was lucky to pass first time.
-
I actually failed the first time at 16 and never went back. I'm almost 32 now and have no license. I finally got a Learner's and have been planning to take lessons but haven't gotten around to it yet.
-
The driving part took me three tries, I got screwed over on the second time though, I got failed for only checking my mirrors twice before reversing instead of three times or something overly pedantic like that... my instructor marched in to the centre and tore the examiner a new arsehole, and when I drew the same examiner for my 3rd try he barely even made a note of what I was doing, just talked to me the whole time and passed me at the end.
-
i still have to do mine
-
Theory test second time, driving test third time. I had been driving for three years before I realised that I hadn't got round to applying for the photo part of the licence. My licence had been invalid for a year whilst I'd been driving, I had to take both tests all over again. 100% second time round, though!
-
Twice for my regular licence.Once for my class a cdl!!
-
Once (phew!). My poor grandmother had to take it 5 times before she passed. Lucky for me, the part that kept her from passing (parallel parking) was not required when I took my test.
-
Operators License: First time Emergency Vehicle Op's: First time
-
Writen twice, road once
-
Twice. I passed it the second time around.
-
once, I bribed the inspector.
-
once for my learners, once for my provisional too! all perfect scores too.
-
Got it first pop, and then also when I went for my motorbike license in Japan I got that first pop too. There was a Japanese girl in my group who was on her 28th try, she passed that day, and was so happy she cried.
-
Once but the test was a joke. I was only on the road for about 5 minutes and then the examiner told me to drive behind some stores. The test probably took 10 minutes at most. I have heard the dmv where I took the test was prejudiced so it is possible they gave me an easy test b/c I am white. Not that I approve of that. I think everyone should have to do a test every time they renew their licence and not on like I had.
-
17 for my friend
-
1 & 1. I passed the written on the first try & I passed my driving the first try. They only tests I think I ever passed that I studied for at 16.
-
Three, I passed on my fourth. Then I forgot to send off for the photo card thingy in time and had to do it all again, then I passed first time. So I have failed three times and passed twice : 0

Twice... BUT this is the story behind it: The first test was going extremely well... I knew I had it in the bag. As the test was ending, I drove into the parking lot, feeling a very positive vibe in the car. As I made a turn within the parking lot to find a spot, I climbed a curb - one of those dividing island things - IN THE DAMN PARKING LOT! Automatic failure. They were at least nice enough to squeeze me in for a test the next day. It's a toss-up as to who was more shocked - me or the testing dude.
-
I had to take my permit test twice and driving test once.
-
Two. When you go through a school zone, go 25 and not 26...
-
I passed the first time
-
Only once! : O )
-
One time with an almost perfect score.
-
Three times! I passed 2 days ago! FINALLY! I cried when she said I had passed :)
-
I passed first time :D
-
1...
-
One!

One, but I sucked at parallel parking. Still do, I will drive blocks away just to find a parking garage unless the street is empty.
-
just once
-
First try.
-
I got it on my first try.
-
Once.
-
Twice: First time drove past a Stop sign. I'm bad.
-
I passed my permit test perfectly on my first try on July 31, 2009.
-
First try here, also.
-
Failed the very first time I took the test.....because I couldn't parallel park. Really, I would prefer a far away parking spot rather than parallel.
-
Just once for both the written and driving tests.
-
Got it on the first try. I did, however, have to take the learner's permit test twice before passing on the third try. I didn't have a learner's permit until I was almost 18.
-
Once! The instructor was reluctant to give it to me. She actually told me that she was only giving it to me because she could only take so many points off for the things I did wrong. I got the lowest score possible to pass. :-p
-
I failed once because my wheel was 6 inches past the line on the stop sign. The teacher screamed at me, she was a psycho.
-
1 for the permit 1 for the test didn't ever pick up a book
-
I passed the first time!
