Boston and NYC but only if I was wealthy. The cities are expensive but there are millions of things to do there - museums, clubs, restaurants, shopping, ball parks, parks, etc.

Sioux Falls, SD. I went to school there. Left there in 1961. I know people who have moved there in the 1990's and loved it. I have found it to be a small city that is clean, friendly, and genuine. Nice place to be with few problems of a large city.

santa cruz, california. its pretty laid back. lots of students are there. there is an out door auditorium for jazz concerts. a couple colleges. plus it is just over the hill from san francisco. the city. and it is pretty close to monterey, carmel. and reasonable close to yosemite national park.

I don't really go for cities much, being a country and wilderness lover. But I have always loved Vancouver BC, Canada. It's a beautiful city and nature is all around.
