  • Did you not pass second grade? 60 x .75 = x 60(100) x .75(100) = 100x 60000sqrtx / 750sqrtx = 4500000/10sqrtx 60 / .75 = 8
  • Go to the Khan Academy YouTube channel - there you can teach yourself a whole variety of math. http://www.youtube.com/user/khanacademy
  • Did Dr. Schwitz not past kindergarten? Reading comprehension is your friend. Really, there are only two steps I can think of. 60/.75 = x 60*(1/.75) = x And I guess at this point you could change 1/.75 to 4/3 just to make it easier to understand. x = 80
  • 60 divided by .75 is 80 It would be 60 divided by 3/4 = 60*4 divided by 3 = 240 divided by 3 = 80 Not sure how step by step you need but the original part is 60 divided by 3 over 4. You bring the 4 to the top by the 60 and multiply those together to get the 240. Take the 240 and divide by 3. That gives you the 80.
  • Dr Schwitz hasn't answered your question - and he's got his sums wrong. 60 * 0.75 is NOT 45000. Apart from that his answer is far too complicated to make much sense to anyone except maybe another 'doctor'. 60 divided by 0.75 is 80. Stick it through a calc and you'll see that. I don't know how i'd show you step by step but the way I did it was to divide 60 by 3 (gives 20), and multiply the answer by 4 (80). Of course, you may have asked the wrong question to start with. If you're after three quarters of 60 then the answer is 45 (divide by four to get one quarter, and multiply by three to get three quarters.
