I'd like to die in bed, in my boyfriends arms, with my family surrounding me, and my cats there too :) Just of old age, or something that doesnt hurt :)

I'd be at an airshow. A plane woud take off and then start smoking. I'd jump up into the air, transform into a bird, fly to the plane, transform into a half-dragon half-monkey and rip the hatch open and rescue the pilot. I'd then turn into a very, very long winged snake and lower the pilot down my length to the ground. I'd finally turn into a beautiful firework and explode.

Of old age, in my sleep, in my own bed, in my own home, hopefully not alone, but at least knowing I was loved.

I've often thought that the best way would be to stockpile sleeping tablets when I get old, and when I've had enough of living just choose when and where to slip away. I don't want to end up in a nursing home, so better to do it myself while I am still able to make that decision. I figure I would tell my family, and they can choose whether to be there or not.

I'd like to die in a violent fight of some sort with lots of blood while saving another who will never know that even though I died myself, I saved them from their own demise.

I'd like it to be peaceful and not violent, but not in my sleep. I'd actually want to be aware of it. I want to be aware that these are my last day(s) and have my loved ones around me so I can express everything to them, the normal things people say when they're dying that they wouldn't if they knew they were going to live much longer; things like I love you, apologies, etc etc.

I think I would like to die peacefully...without any pain at all knowing I had lived a good life and treated my friends and family well.

I used to think I'd like to die of something quick, like a heart attack, an aneurysm, or a blood clot. But, I've started having heart murmurs, and sometimes they are quite painful. But, I'd also like to have a chance to say good-bye to my loved ones. Hmmmm. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Maybe an aneurysm in my sleep, I guess.

I have seen in some movies that there is a capsule, about the size of a kidney bean, that all it takes is a bite, and, in less than two seconds, you are gone... I think that's the one Jodie Foster was offered to take with her in the movie "Contact" just in case she got stranded in space with no way of being rescued. I think it is made of cyanide. If it works the way it shows in movies, it should be a fast and painless way to die. Of course, no one who has died after biting the capsule has been interviewed to find out if it was very painful or not...

I know this might make me sounds like a completely weak, spineless junkie but you did say anything I wanted. If I die, I want the several hours leading up to the end to be a blissful experience due to a steadily increasing dose of some powerful opiate based narcotic such as Morphine. I'd like to have my last few hours be as comfortable as possible. I wouldn't want a huge dose right away, because that would just hit you too hard and your last minutes would probably be stressful and unpleasant. By slowly building up to it I could ensure that I am fully relaxed and well into La-La Land before the fatal dose is delivered. ------------ I would ideally like to spend my last conscious moments with my mother and other family members, but I wouldn't want them there when I actually died.

In my sleep, a heat attack or an accident. Anything sudden and without a prolonged pain and suffering would be my choice.

If I am going to be executed, I will want to first put me to sleep very deeply with anesthesia, like if I am going to have general surgery, but instead I will get two 9mm bullets shots on the head at the same time. I guess that should be fast and painless.

Without doubt,the most pleasant way to die,is a blissful,peaceful and painless overdose of HEROIN. It truly is a wonderful feeling,to OD on smack. If you bang up a big one(accidently),you normally know you've fucked up and just except it as ya go down.It's a very pleasant experience. Of course,very quick medical intervention might be able to bring ya back,but,if you're on your own,it's the final trip to noddy land. About age 88, taking my great-grandchildren to the zoo, when all of a sudden the tigers discover that the door to their cage has been left open and come charging out at us. I twist away from one like in Karate Kid III when Daniel-san is in Okinawa, and it goes skidding past me back into its pit. The other one disembowels me with a swipe of its paw, but I jump over its head onto its back and with the last of my strength strangle it with my own guts just as it's about to reach my great-grandkids, thus earning me a "Hero"-tagged item on Fark.com. As I lay there, my llfe ebbing away, my ggk's come over (somebody has covered me with a shirt first so as not to traumatize them) and hold my hand as I tell them that I love them and that they're wonderful people, and then pass gently away with a smile on my face.

I want to die quietly, quickly, alone...don't want those I love to suffer by watching me go slowly and in pain...want them to remember me as a living, loving, giving being, always ready with a joke or comforting word, loving and caring....

I would like it to be quick and painless, though that seems pretty rare. I don't want to languish and suffer knowing it will not get better... and I don't want my family to have to deal with that either.

I know death is a certainty that no one can avoid. Therefore I am not afraid of death. However I am afraid of the possibility of pain which may come with it. Hence I would choose death with the minimum of pain. Death in my sleep would be my first choice.

I would want to dye in a dramatic, fun way, like during skydiving, or bunjee-jumping. I don't care about the pain. I'm not afraid. The only thing anybody has to do in life is die. Why not do it well ?
