All our doors are closed to keep the bugs and dog out and to keep the warmth and cats in. I do have screen on all four doors as they are all glass, too. We don't really have a back door, just three doors around the house downstairs and one upstairs.

Yes. I need a consistant temperature in the house so I'm not constantly tuning my guitars and banjos. It's also helpful when I'm making bread not to have a house full of flies! A better question, though, is: does my roommate keep the backdoor closed? Most of the time he does, but not nearly all the time.

I live in an apartment in Texas. First, there is no back door, and secondly, i keep all door and windows closed to give the AC a chance

I dont have a back door, but a sliding side door yes, and I keep it open and let some air in. It feels really nice that the nights are getting cooler.

Yes I do, even though I have an enclosed back yard so, technically, no-one should be able to access my back door. Better to be safe than sorry.
