  • FLIRTING IS JUST HAVING A FUN CONVERSATION BEING YOURSELF AND WITTY SOME ARE BETTER AT IT THAN OTHERS ITS CALLED CONFIDENCE!!!!
  • Perceptions.
  • I've never flirted in my life and wouldn't know a pass if someone hit me over the head with it. The only way I ever "knew" someone noticed me was if he asked me out on a date. I'm not afraid to flirt..I just am not wired that way. It seems kinda phony to me. If someone is a "natural" flirt how does he/she comport him/herself around others? Love 'em and leave 'em..tease 'em? What? :) ((hugs))
  • I think those that do it in spite of past rejections do it because they have self confidence in themselves and their abilities to attract someone. Those who don't flirt in many cases have allowed themselves to interperet past rejections as them not being good enough for anyone and they allow their low self esteem to hold them back from putting themselves out there.
  • The difference is confidence
  • For the same reason that some people are better chess players than others, or better at learning languages than others, or better artists than others. We don't all have Human Brain Mk MCLXVII installed in our heads. We each have individual brains with individual talents/deficits. Some people have the combination of verbal/facial/body language circuits in their brains that enable them to flirt easily, while others don't. The 'natural' flirts probably will be well-received, while others will end up seeming clumsy, awkward, and disingenuous. Similarly, some people are wired to slough off rejection easily, while others have a natural tendency to ruminate and feel that rejection deeply. It's funny; if someone says they're "bad at math" or are "lousy at sports", people accept that as a natural variation in ability. But if someone is socially awkward, it's because they "lack confidence" or "need to keep trying". . . .
  • probably cause everyone is different
