Nothing, it probably means you are overwatering or it is very humid. You can break off pieces and easly root them. Just ignore them.

I'm guessing that youre trying to propagate . Using a leaf only... In this case, you would want to let the leaf set and dry for a day or two, and then place it on moist soil. Not too wet, but, not dry. Eventually, the leaf will form a root system, and begin to sprout leaves. This is not always easy , to start a plant from the leaf alone, I hope this helps.
