  • Sonic is a US company -- right? US Federal laws mandates maternity leave parameters. The Manager has no say in the matter (nor does their boss, nor does Sonic, nor do the shareholders in Sonic, nor does the city or state). It is federal law! You probably have a large lawsuit on your hands should you want to follow through there might be a substantial penalty the Manager will pay and possibly punitive damages paid to you. I wish you the best and hope you fight this to the end because you are in the right.
