His son?

I have changed my original answer of "himself" to his son by the following reasoning. The answer is easy when you break it down. Lets assume that I am the man looking at the picture, and look at the end bit of the riddle; "my father's son" My fathers son would be me, because I have no brothers or sisters remember. Think about it... So, we can now look at the riddle like this: "Brothers and Sisters I have none, but this man's father is (me). If the man's father is me, then he is my son.
-
Way too easy. Its himself of course.
-
the man can't be in the picture because he is talking, anybody that talks must be alive. so he can't be in the picture, right?
-

it is not his son. "this man's father is my father's son" to say that it would be the son is to say that "my son's father(me) is my father's son" my father is my son's grandfather not his father, Othersize my son would also be my brother and I would be his mother of incest. It was stated at the begining that I have no brother.
-
the grandson.. The father of that man is my brother because he is also a son of my father so that makes the man my nephew. If my father is the reference, that makes the man, the grandson. Γ
-
his grandson
-
Instead of saying my fathers son , say ME. That mans father is ME, so he is looking at a picture of his SON!!
-
This is a hoary old chestnut of a riddle -- I first heard it in the 1950s though, I'd guess it's much older -- repeatedly turning up in puzzle books. The answer is 'your son'.

The man that is speaking is the man in the picture as he states that the man in the picture is his fathers son and that he has no brothers or sisters or it could be his grandfather assuming that he is speaking to his son about whom he is as we all talk to our parents about their parents and their siblings when they were growing up..... A man can mean an uncle a father or even someone on your mothers side
