im amazed at how young kids are getting cell phones. when i was a kid they looked like brick sized walkie talkies

Those battery operated cars that they ride around in. I remember having the little pedal platic cars but nothing like they have now.

Those powered cars/Jeeps that run on a battery. My kids have one and I can't help driving it into the garage to put it away for them.

Playstation 3. I mean, I have one now, but as a kid that thing would have blown my mind. I played a lot of video games as a kid.

I can't think of a thing! Growing up playing outside day and night with my siblings and cousins, board games around the furnace in the winter with my siblings, sledriding, homemade Christmas and Birthday presents, using our imaginations to entertain ourselves and each other, 6 kids in pajamas going to the drive in with mom and dad, having family get-togethers with guitars and sing-a-longs, camping out... etc, etc, have all made for a close family with values and ethics. I wouldn't trade that for the world!

IF I WERE A KID STILL...I would answer, "Control of the household". It's amazing to me how most parents cater to their children. Quite the opposite from my upbringing. As an adult, I answer: #1 air conditioning #2 e books #3 e-scooter (though to be fair, probably would be beyond affordability)
