I have an 8 week old kitten and he is completely weaned and eating dry food. At 8 weeks, they should start eating dry or wet food. Maybe you can try mixing milk into the food you are giving him. Or maybe he just doesn't like THAT particular brand.

Have you tried a different kind of food? Or, try putting some tuna juice on your finger and see if he likes that, then lure him to the food bowl with the smell, and maybe give him a TINY amount of tuna with some tuna flavored kitten food. Don't give him much tuna, though, as it has too much mercury in it for their systems to handle!

There is no reason for your kitten to be still nursing. It should have been started towards weaning at 5-6 weeks and weaned completely by 6-8 weeks. And there is no reason at all for him to be still bottlefed as he could be lapping up the milk on his own. Just put some food in a bowl and pour a little milk over it. And wait. If he's hungry, he'll eat. Remove after 1'2 hour. Then wait a few hours. Offer it again. He will eat.
