I recall seeing something like $5.40 a gallon for diesel. Somewhere around $.80 a gallon is the lowest I've ever seen.

$4.15 or $4.19 for regular gas. Over $5 for diesel. The lowest that I remember for sure was $0.99, but I'm pretty sure it was cheaper than that when I was a kid.

Highest for regular unleaded = $4.29, lowest around 35 cents when I got my first car.

A little over $4.00 USD in Canada and 15 cents back in the mid 1950's

When I first stared to drive, it was 25 cents a gal. The most I have paid was $4.50 a gal.
