  • unfortunately no
  • No. You lose your virginity after having sex, no matter how that sex came about.
  • I believe virginity is a state of mind. Biologically, virginity is irrelevant. The mental issues caused by the raped do not interfere with the fact she did not have consensual sex.
  • I would say no. It's the worst way to lose it too.
  • god may think different than others, so who really knows
  • Yes, I believe she is. If someone hurt (raped) her, that does not mean she should deny herself the mindset of being able to CHOOSE who she shares her first consensual intimacy with.
  • well i guess TECHNICALLY no but I would still say I am if I were her
  • Unfortunately No! Its the worse possible way to lose Your virginity But it happens and any form of sex whether he/she wanted it or didnt want it, its still classed as losing Your virginity.
  • I believe she is. Virginity is something you give to someone. If she is raped by a man, phyiscally she has had sex but virginity is still there cause it wasnt by her choice. Like if someone forcibly kisses you and you never have been kissed, it wouldnt be your first true kiss.
  • Technically and unfortunately no. The deed was still done, even if it was in the circumstances of being raped, she's no longer a virgin. After the girl heals from the experience, and wants to have sex, she may FEEL like she is a virgin for the simple fact of she's being able to make the choice and enjoy it with her partner.
  • well biologicly no, but emotionaly she still hasn't had her first one that she wants to surrender it to...but that's a way to look at it........i just heard a bat outside....
  • Good question. Well, technically no. But life isn't fair at all. Very bad things happen in this life. In some countries they will kill a girl who has been raped because they are no longer a "virgin" even though it was not their fault. I was verbally attacked for not being a virgin as well by someone from the middle east. They threatened to beat me. It is terrifying. I was really scared. I lost 30 pounds after that.
  • well i was raped. other than that situation i should be a virgin. and i get rather upset thinking my virginity is gone when i said no... But my boyfriend says in his eyes im a virgin, and clean, and it never happened. When he looks at me he doesnt see a rape victum he see's a clean slate. he is a virgin, and as far as im concerned, i am too.
  • I SAY 100% YES YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! look sweetie you did not ask tobo raped ok.........that was not your choice!!!!! that Asshole forced you todo it!!! i say you are no i never been raped but if i was i know i would still be a virgin in my eyes....loosing your virginity is a choice you make to give with someone and you never got to make that choice yet and say you wanted to...so you still are one you can't help it if someone RAPES!!!!!! you and takes something that is your's you didnt ask for that so i say yes you are!!! GODBLESS AND GOODLUCK TO YOU :)
  • theres a lot of people that would say no because you alrady feelt some sort of penatration, but to me YES you still are because there was no love or some sorth of desire to want to do it and the experience its totaly diffrent
  • Technically she isn't a virgin anymore, but to me it is who you choose to have your first sexual encounter with.
  • If you try to make it positive you can consider virgin when you want it and falling in love. Otherwise for offical physical document, you are not virgin if were raped at virgin or not either way.
  • Yes you are still a virgin.Rape is an act of violence . You are a survivor of violence and a Virgin to MAKING LOVE. You cannot compare the two it is night and day.
  • i have to say that is really entirely up to the person who is the victim. if he/she believe that because what was stolen from them was stolen and not willing given away then yea. who is anyone to tell anyone that is a victim of a rape that no she can not say to herself that she is a virgin but it is entirely up to what that person thinks
  • I was a virgin when I was raped and I didnt give up my virginity then. I was a virgin until I had sex with my boyfriend.
  • Only emotionally.
  • yeah technically no... but you could say emotionally you still are.
  • rape is not sex - it's an act of violence. you are a virgin until you CHOOSE to have sex with someone
  • Physically, no. But emotionally, mentally, even spiritually, I believe she would have every right to still consider herself one.
  • I think virgin is not an issue, is how a person think, if it happen by loosing the virgin, learnt from the mistake and move on. look forward to the future that we are living for not the past, The past is lesson to be learnt. Cheer and merry Xmas Thia
  • technicaly no... however anyone who would think of her as not (in reference to purity) needs to be given a million superficial cuts and thrown in a pool of brine.
  • well i want to believe that you are, because....yea....but i guess by what others are saying, then no :(
  • reading through the answers so far made me cry. I agree that no, you aren't a virgin any more and that is one of the most devastating parts of this. It is even worse when it happens more than once. It is sad when asked if I have had sex before I would have to say "yes, but not by choice".
  • Rape and sex are NOT the same thing. I think a woman would still be a virgin, because she didn't willingly participate.
  • If the hymen (sp??) is broken then no, not a virgin anymore.
  • I was a virgin when I was raped. I know technically afterward I wasn't but my virginity was being kept for that special person and it is my choice when I want to lose it, so I called myself a virgin.
  • i asked that question to my mormon friend after it happened to me and your not a virgin but like he said its not looked at the same you didnt lose your virginity but it was stolen
  • Medically, no. But morally, virginity is not a medical condition and has no medical definition. Morally, yes.
  • Physically no. I always viewed it as having lost my technical virginity with my rape and then I lost my consentual virginity when I made the decision to give myself to someone.
  • WELL TO ME I THINK NO BUT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN REASON CAUSE ITS YOUR VIRGINITY AND YOU LOOSE IT WHEN YOU WANT AND BEING A VICTIM OF RAPE ITS STILL YOUR CHOICE WHO YOU GIVE IT UP TO
  • not physicaly you are not considered a virgin. but i think it depends on the person. there are many diffrent reasons to say that you are still a virgian becasue some people say just having sex gets rid of your virginity or having sex WILLINGLY is when you loss your virginity. it just depends on the persons morals
  • Yes she is. that wasnt here choice to have that sexual encounter. yes there was penatraion but that means nothing. if penatrition ment loosing it, any women who used a tampoon wouldnt be a virgin any more.
  • Yes, that was not her choice, to me If I wana marry her, she is still virgin for me.
  • When your Hymen is peirced your not a virgin for goodness sake. Well, depends on whether you want to look at this Biologically (Please choose this one), or spiritually (......)
  • technicaly she is not a virgin, but to consider her not one is foolishness. someone who did "petting" with their past BF/GF is far less pure than someone whos only sexual experience was forced on them.
  • if it was a rape......... i hope everyone knows the meaning........ so its penetrating without knowledge of another.... so i feel if u love some1 from heart and you feel she wont ditch you then you shud feel tht your partner is a true one, a virgin......... but i dont understand y do v care abt virginity........ just accept someone and see whether they r pure in a relation and how much they maintain it
  • no. as a matter of fact.
  • If she says she is then yes she is. Viriginity is just a state of mind.
  • Morally, yes.
  • No once a she had sex she is no longer a virgin wether she wanted it or not
  • technically you are not a virgin but mentally you are still a virgin its just the way you see things
  • sadly virginity is not a state of mind. It is the lack of sexually imposed expression through sexual intercourse that depurify a body and speeds up sexual growth.
  • Morally, yes, you're still a virgin.
  • Whatever your definition of 'being raped' is, after having sex one technically isn't a virgin.
  • in a medical since it is not considered after rape at any age or by any individual. I was molested by my father starting at 5 until 9 yrs. old. When I was 13 I so desired to forget this and live a life when an adult married to a man who didn't abuse my family and I was a christian then so I told myself that I was a virgin because I was a child and it was not consentual. Often when I say I was a virgin at 20 and got pregnant people question this and I have to explain this was my dream and delusion about it all.
  • Of course not. But thanks to today's science you can go and get hymen reconstruction.
  • As far as a doctor is concerned, your not a virgin. It really depends on the person, and if they consider themselves to be or not.
  • Once the hymen is broken she is no longer a virgin. But in some countries, like Japan, they can reattach the hymen before the wedding night.
  • Well, I would say yes. Now, according to WordIQ.com the hymen is a membrane, part of the vulva, which partially occludes the entrance to the vagina and which is often physically torn when the woman first engages in vaginal intercourse. So, if the hymen is torn then she might be considered a non-virgin. However, wordIQ.com also says that in a stricter sense it is somebody who has not yet engaged in sexual activities. I personally like to look at virginity as a gift a woman gives to the first man she voluntarily has sex with. This means that use of tampons or acts of rape would not exclude a woman from being a virgin. Only the first time she voluntarily lays with a man.
  • You cant TAKE a virginity, it can only be given away.
  • If there was vaginal penetration then No not a virgin any longer.
  • Since it was rape, I would say yes she still is a virgin.
  • a person who has engaged in sexual intercourse either willingly or unwillingly is not a virgin
  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who thinks a virgin who is raped is no longer a virgin is a stupid fool.
  • yes it does, after women have had sex it stimulates the body to produce more estrogen and causes the hips to widening in preparation for child birth and the gives a growth spurt to the breast.
  • well it was sexuall intercourse so u would think ur not a virgin any more...srry
  • I say that you are still a virgin after rape. I mean, it isn't like you wanted it to happen or like you willingly did it. I think that you are still a virgin.
  • well i was raped by my cusins and i thought i was a virgin but i wasn't i cryed all night because i was ten no body need to be treated that way because it will always be in your past but just stay strong and keep your head up cause your not a virgin sorry sweetheart
  • No, even though it wasn't her choice. She will not be a virgin anymore. After any sexual act, whether by choice or not, it automatically makes you to be not a virgin.
  • If she wants to still think of herself as a virgin, I think she has every right to do so. Yes, you lose your virginity when you have sex but I think it should be sex you wanted and not sex forced on you.
  • I thought this was teen pregnancy day. Rape day is Thursday isn't it?
  • Morally, yes. Physically, no.
  • Is this a real question?
  • Morally, yes, but physically, no.
