No, it does not work at all. In fact, a maker of another product that works the exact same way as Riddex has been banned from making any claims that it repels pests and rodents by the FTC. I purchased one and plugged it into a centrally-located outlet in my 900 square foot home. After a rain storm one day about a week after I installed the product I noticed a trail of sugar ants crawling from a gap between the floor and wall board- they were crawling up the wall and RIGHT OVER THE RIDDEX DEVICE. I sent it back and got my refund.
