Not really. My birthday is in the middle of the summer vacations so noone actually remembers it. My name day is more festive, thats for sure.
-
No. Been ther done that 39 times already. Quit doing anything about them like around 19 or 20 or so. Others still do stuff for my birthday, but know not to sing that song to me. I hate getting that song sung to.
-
Not really, just and excuse to have friends over.
-
Not as important as it should be.
-
nah. i like having day to get together w my friends, but there's such a big group of us that we have bdays like every month so we've just decided no presents for anybody, just wherever we go to eat the bd person doesn't have to pay. [yea we're kind of cheap but when there's 9+ of us, we have to be lol]

No. My birthday has pretty much been ignored my entire life, especially by my brother and sisters..I learned to ignore it too after a while. My mom, hubby and kids remember it and get me a card or small gift when they can. My B-day is right after Christmas....not a good time.
-
Not much. I'm glad I was born but it's just a day to me.
-
not really.. just another year.... same bullshit every year.. nothing new..
-
Yes. Each year my youth slips away, and my openess with it.
-
No.Not really:)
-
The older I get the less important it becomes.
-
Not to much anymore!
-
Not at all, just a marker for how much I should be grateful.
-
Its just another day at this point in my life.
-
I don't think I would of been here if it was not.....
-
Me and my twin brother have used it as a reason to meet and party every year since we reached a quarter-century We live about 200 miles away from each other right now, so we might as choose our birthday as a reason to make an effort to meet.
-
No, nor is it to anyone else.
-
Not more important than that of yours cause your new photo is so much delicious! rhyming, Prof. Mes

Only to the extent that I am still here. The significant birthday in my life is the day my son was born..I also celebrate that as my "Mother's Day". I am happy to celebrate other people's birthdays..mine is just another great day in a series of great days. I embrace getting older..I've never had a birthday that depressed me..I don't understand people who get depressed just because they are getting older..I wonder..would they prefer the alternative? :)
-
not at all, 1 year closer to death
-
Well, it's starting to get less important. Last year, I turned 30. This year, I don't want to celebrate my birthday. There are things I enjoy more. And really, being with my entire family is just stressful (especially since my grandparents' minds started slipping).
-
Yes. Although I am a man who is approaching age 40, my birthday remains important to me, and I intend that it always will. At any age, I think it is important to celebrate having been born, and to be thankful for having made it to another year. I also think other people's birthdays are important. I make a point of sending birthday wishes to many relatives, friends, and even acquaintances. Most people really appreciate being remembered, especially on their birthdays; I also enjoy getting birthday wishes! Ideally, a birthday should be an occasion of celebration, gratitude, and being loved and appreciated.

not really. Never think about it, just another day, and it usually slips by without me remembering it. No one really knows when it is, so that's perfectly fine.
-
Of course, it's the day I was born.
-
It's Jesus' half birthday, but everyone remembers me on June 25 and not him! lol
-
It means less each year.
