Thus, it has disqualified him from ever being inducted. It would take a complete overhaul of the induction rules to get him in.
  • He will never make it. Gambling has always had a terrible stigma in baseball. He also blatantly lied about it. Also, the guys who vote for the HOF are as conservative as they come.
  • Pete rose should be inducted. So he lied,“Great men are not always wise”.
  • Maybe not until after supposed steroid abusing players like Clemens and Bonds are inducted. If he admitted he bet on baseball 20 years ago, he might have be inducted by now.
