My air conditioner is frigid when I'm moving, but blows warm air when I'm idling or moving slow. Why?

Sounds like it is low on refrigerant. Since an A/C is a sealed system and should not need ref. added under normal conditions, I recommend you seek a mechanic. You may have a leak.

If your engine heat gauge is heating up a lot higher while your idling, you may just need to have the bugs washed out of the front of your radiator. You can do this at a carwash. If the temp. is no higher on your heat gauge, I suggest you have a shop check the A/C coolant as it may be too low to work properly at the slower speeds.
