You do not have to buy a male to breed your female, you can take your female to be bred by a male who is advertised for stud, for a fee. Stud fees and arrangements vary with the quality of the male and the requirements of the owner. To select a male that will complement your female's qualities and improve her weaknesses though, you need to learn what her good and bad points are, and what good points and bad points dogs in her pedigree had or produced. You can also find knowledgeable breeders and stud owners through SHCA. probably wouldnt breed her with a malamute as theyre bigger and pups may be big and hurt/ get blocked during labour. could go to local dog show and find one you like....then ask
