  • anti-fur, but im not crazy about it - pouring red paint on people who wear it and such .. i just choose not to wear it cause it feels wrong
  • Anti fur! God. I've said it about a gazillion times. I'd rather go naked. It's cruel and unnecessary.
  • I personally don't wear fur, but I am not going to judge someone who does. There are far worse things going on in the world to worry about.
  • I wouldn't call myself either pro or anti when it comes to fur. Personally, I wouldn't wear real fur (though I have nothing against synthetic fur), but neither would I criticize someone who chooses to do so. I do think it's wrong to raise an animal ONLY for its fur, however. Thus, I have no objection to leather and few to rabbit fur, so long as it comes from animals that are bound for the dinner table...
  • Antifur, because I love my little guys, leather though, hate to say I will wear it.
  • fur and anti-fur, depending on the circumstances. killing things for a new coat seems a bit wrong, but if you happen to accidently run over 20 chinchillas then it'd be a waste not to make some things.
  • oops sorry I double posted again GRRR!
  • i'm anti-fur. i think its kinda icky that people wear animals. mostly because i don't like to wear other people's skin. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=k1cr2u&s=3
  • Very anti. Animals are locked in tiny mesh cages all their lives, going mad to the point of self mutilation. They are then strangled or electrocuted to death, although many animals are skinned alive either because the killing method didnt work, or the manufacturers would rather not 'spoil' the fur. Their skinless bodies are then thrown away like trash. And for what? So some ignorant, selfish, moronic human can walk round with their pretty fur coat. This isnt just cruelty, it's far beyond cruelty. Red paint over wearers isnt good enough in my opinion. It makes me ashamed to be a human.
  • GROWLS.... I am outraged, give me five minutes with a large microwave and these kids!!!!!!!!
  • I'm not real big on fur, but I'm not completely against it either. A prissy bitch wearing a super pricey mink coat made from minks farmed for that kind of slaughter only is sick to me. A hunter who takes on the challenges of nature without too many technological assistances and creature comforts, who eats the meat and has some basic respect for the creature who's life he took can make a nice use of the remaining fur and have my respect about it. Now if you mean like below, Fagetaboutit!
  • I love fur, it can be fake, they dont have to kill any animals for me, unless I get hungry, LOL.
  • Very Pro fur. People get it wrong about leather too. the Cow on your plate and the cow on your back are from 2 different types of cow so leather isnt using what would be wasted. Leather cows are turned into dog food etc just like any other animal used for fur. Meat isnt just thrown away, its put into bins to then be used further. Fur has been used since the dawn of man and i will be damned if i stop wearing it. I think people need to read up before they comment on fur. PETA kill 1000s of healthy animals a year claiming they are saving them, now if thats not a cult what it? They are just adding to the death toll.
  • Fur isn't murder. Yes some furs are harvested inhumanely even in a torturous manner. But people need to wake up and grow up. Children in Africa are dying daily because they don't have clean drinking water, atrocities are commited daily to innocent lives as a result of war (that is murder)and there are children working in factories sewing shoes for 5 cents a day - these issues are INHUMANE. Animals should definitely not be hurt or treated badly, but the reality is they are not humans and should not be elevated to human status. What is to stop a Cat from becoming the next President of the United States? its ridiculous! Some climates are so cold people need to wear fur, others wear fur for spirtual reasons. And if you can afford to wear fur thats ur choice - wear it. Otherwise why don't we just go around throwing paint at people in mcdonalds for eating a big mac? im sure many are aware that a cow is a sacred and worshipped animal in some religions? all these models posing naked screaming for is murder for PETA should calm down and stop glamorizing this bullsh*t. they seem to have no problem walking down a catwalk in leather shoes or endorsing/modelling products sewn up my innocent children in a tiawanese factory somewhere where slave labor is standard practise.
  • Personally, I just think it takes far too many ants to come up with a wearable item. If you mean fur or anti-fur, I think the coat should remain on the animal that was born with it.
  • I think it is wrong to kill animals for the sake of fur, even if they are farm raised for this purpose.
  • All fur should remain where it starts - including animal pelts, and male body hair.
  • i dont wear fur anyways cause im not into dressing up,as long as im not the one killing the animal i dont mind wearing it
  • Mink are meant to be harvested for their body hair. If they were meant for a higher purpose, they'd have opposable thumbs and internet access.
  • First there is context to consider. If there is a sacred relationship and an essential need, then fur would be the natural choice. If you were an Eskimo or an indigenous community living primarily on the land then fur would be the natural choice. In modern materially affluent societies where fur or faux fur is worn more for status than for function, neither would appeal. Its important to find out how our lifestyle choices are perpetuating what industry practices. Many are harmful if not horrific. Then make a purchasing choice based on a symbiotic honoring of all life, and avoid those products that consequence quality of life and environment.
